Stadium to Community: Workforce & Wellness Initiative

Fueling Futures Through Food, Service, & Community Impact

Overview

Stadium to Community is a dynamic partnership between The Logan Wilkes Foundation, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and Levy Restaurants that transforms large-scale sports and entertainment events into meaningful opportunities for volunteer engagement, workforce development, and community reinvestment. The Logan Wilkes Foundation has been in partnership with Levy Restaurants for over 20 years, providing dedicated service to support stadium operations and community-focused food and hospitality initiatives.

Participants will gain hands-on experience inside one of the nation’s premier stadiums while helping generate critical funding that directly supports cooking classes, school gardens, teen workforce development programs, and community health & wellness initiatives across Atlanta’s under-resourced neighborhoods.

This initiative blends fun, fast-paced fundraising with real-world job training, creating a pipeline from stadium service to sustainable careers.

How It Works

Youth and adult volunteers work select events at Mercedes-Benz Stadium through Levy Restaurants.
Participants receive orientation and on-site training in food service and hospitality. Volunteers gain exposure to high-volume, professional kitchen and front-of-house operations.
A portion of proceeds from each event is donated back to The Logan Wilkes Foundation. Funds are reinvested into community-based education and wellness programs.

What Participants Gain

• Food & beverage service fundamentals.
• Customer service & communication skills
• Teamwork in high-pressure environments
• Time management & professionalism
• Team-building experience inside a world-class venue
• Pathways to additional potential workforce training and job placement
